We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into company performance.
Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting and tax filings.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
Collaborate with auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and forecasts.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and budgeting.
Excellent account reconciliation and account analysis skills.
Ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
