Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance and business systems professionals.Our Crown Corporation client needs a Sr. Financial Analyst (Hybrid) for a six-month contract opportunity. In this role you will work as a member of a small team, performing a variety of accounting functions. This is a Hybrid (2-3 days a week) role based in Cornwall, Ontario.The Financial Analyst\'s duties will include:
- Participating in period end activities
- Preparing financial statements, account analyses, reports, and reconciliations
- Assisting in interpreting and implementing internal controls
- Assisting in preparation of budgets and forecasts, including variance analyses
- Completing internal/external audit requests
- Assisting in various tax matters, including income tax
- Other duties as requiredQualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Simply Accounting / Sage 50
- Income tax knowledge a strong asset
