Robert Half is looking to staff a Financial Analyst role with our well-respected client for a contractual engagement located in the region of Waterloo Ontario!:As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of strategic financial plans. Your insights will help drive business decisions and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor performance
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and processes
- Support the preparation of presentations for senior managementQualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
