What you'll do:
Assist with the consolidation of financial statements and preparation of note disclosures and MD&A, including related analysis.
Recommend updates to accounting policies to ensure consistency across the organization.
Research best practices and assess operational impacts to inform improvements.
Analyze data and processes to drive continuous improvement and support budget preparation.
Support training and communication of new financial reporting standards and changes.

You will work closely with the Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, the Corporate Accounting and Fixed Asset teams, along with various internal stakeholders across the Finance organization. This role reports to the Manager, External Reporting, within a team that strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
Have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business, majoring in accounting.
Have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
Have 3+ years of relevant experience of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), preference for systems and/or consolidation experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
