We are looking for an individual to add value to our Finance Team. This successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for financial processes and month end activities. These functions include assisting with the month end closing processes, including balance sheet account reconciliations. Adhering to accounting concepts, practices and procedures. Supporting continuous improvement and document control. Focusing on IATF standard for cost accounting and quality improvement through a formal commitment to excellence, cost efficiency and reliability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include

(not limited to):

Month end close activities, including: Running Trans4M month end close processes, generating necessary month end reports Preparation of journal entries and entering into ledger (this may require some account analysis activity in order to calculate the journal entries) General ledger account analysis on a monthly basis, including preparation of account reconciliations and submission in Stellantis account reconciliation system Backup for Guelph hourly payroll and accounts payable functions Assist in maintaining current USMCA submissions to Stellantis Accounts receivable: Billing, invoicing and cash application (for multiple CpK locations) Maintain the fixed asset sub ledger, including reconciliation to the general ledger and updating for asset additions/disposals Provide analytical support during the annual budgeting process and support the annual standard cost roll Provide financial support for numerous projects and ad hoc requirements, as required

Please note that this position may require some travel between Port Hope, Belleville, Windsor locations.

Qualifications and Experience:



Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Strong computer application skills: Advanced Excel, Infor Trans4M, IFW, Synerion, ADP, PowerPoint
