Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract role. If you have strong property management experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze property portfolio performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, modeling, and variance analysis
Manage full-cycle property accounting: journal entries, bank reconciliations, cash management
Set up properties and tenants in Yardi, including AP workflows and payment systems
Oversee AR & AP, including collections, vendor payments, and tenant move-outs
Handle GST and non-resident tax filings

Requirements:
Must-Haves:

3+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or property accounting
Experience with Yardi and QuickBooks
Diploma in Accounting or Finance
Advanced Excel skills
Strong critical and analytical thinking
Real estate or property management background
Available to start immediately
