We are looking for a Financial Analyst in Corporate Finance to support our growth. You will be reporting to the Director of Finance Consolidation and finance information and play a key role in the organization by building financial models for decision-making, analyzing variances, and contributing to the annual budgeting process.

This position is ideally based in Barrie, Ontario but is also offered as 100% remote under certain conditions.

Role and responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:



Perform full-cycle accounting, including month-end entries and balance sheet reconciliations for corporate and US entities Prepare bank reconciliations, subledger to GL reconciliations, and monitor accruals and prepaid expenses for corporate and US entities Prepare monthly financial statements and explain variances vs. budget and prior year Collaborate with operations to build annual budgets and forecasts Prepare monthly consolidation for the group Produce financial KPIs and dashboards related to company performance Maintain the documentation and calculation for transfer pricing strategy Maintain and implement Statutory policies Contribute to process improvement initiatives Provide ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed Support the implementation of ERP systems

Required qualifications for our Finance Analyst:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration CPA designation (completed or in progress) Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role Advanced proficiency in Excel Strong communication and teamwork skills High level of initiative, autonomy, and versatility Comfortable preparing or analyzing reports for the USA Availability for occasional travel
