Job Title: Financial Analyst, Management Control (1 Year Contract)

Working with the divisional team on the risks and opportunities to divisional budget and forecast. Provides support to the divisional team in preparation of monthly rolling forecast, last estimate and annual plan submissions.The attributes we are looking for: Support divisional teams implement action plans to achieve department targets by providing financial support (such as customer and product profitability). Prepare monthly financial result analysis of variances, PnL, net sales, etc. to assist the divisional team understand financial gains or gaps vs budget, forecast and prior year results. Provide commentary on monthly results and analyze the variance vs budget, forecast and previous year to management. Collect and publicize daily, weekly & monthly dashboard including weekly sales report to track key performance indicators vs budget, forecast and prior year. Organize routine meetings with the GM / Sales team / Logistic / Operations on weekly/ monthly basis working on identifying Risks and Opportunities R&O for the action plan and achieving financial targets. Analyze the profitability by products and customers in order to maximize the product mix and channel. Collaborate with divisional teams to build the R&O to achieve the business targets. Prepare and maintain a tracker of action plan vs budget & forecast. Support the sales team with managing their customers by providing financial analysis vs budget and forecast as well as on new business opportunities.Participate in the definition of business objectives, in agreement with the commercial Director. Participate in elaboration of the commercial strategy, pricing and policy promotional programs. Provide analysis of new business opportunities (new clients, product innovation, new region & markets) and post analysis on the ROI of business opportunities taken on by the company. Establish the budget master plan, participate in the development of net sales and margins, analyze profitability by product and elaborate the assumptions of the budget / plan. Build sales forecasts and results for 3 months and validate the forecast assumptions (volume / mix / price / cost). Prepare the main insights/ comments of the forecast for management. Participate in special projects as required such as SAP conversion, and compliance with new Corporate reporting requirements.What you will bring: University degree plus accounting designation (CA/CGA/CMA) (or working towards) Minimum three (3) years of financial analysis/budgeting/product costing experience in a manufacturing environment Dairy knowledge - Canadian milk system and dairy product processing Strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multi-tasking and deadlines Ability to work in a team environment Proficient with standard office computer technology including Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word, as well as SAPWhat Lactalis will offer: Lactalis Canada believes in rewarding its people with the following comprehensive benefits package and perks:
