We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Financial Aid Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding students through the financial aid process, ensuring they have access to the funding necessary to pursue their educational goals with OSAP.

This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for educating students about financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, and loans.

Location: Brampton & Scarborough Campus

Duties

Assist students about OSAP financial aid programs and processes. Assist students in completing financial aid applications with OSAP. Review and evaluate financial aid applications for eligibility. Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to discuss financial options and strategies. Maintain accurate records of student financial aid files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate student success and retention. Stay updated on changes in financial aid regulations and policies.

Requirements

1-2 Years experience in OSAP Applications Bachelor's degree in finance, education, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of financial aid processes, regulations, and compliance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse audiences. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient in using financial aid software and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in higher education or advising is a plus. Onsite Monday to Friday , Weekends as required

Pay: $20.00 per hour
