The main purpose of this position is to manage and develop a portfolio, providing lending and investment services to current and potential members. Recognize member needs and promote and cross sell credit union lending and deposit services to members. Ensure all assigned lending and deposit activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
Some of the qualifications, which are desired for this position, include, but are not limited to:
• Previous lending and investment experience preferred
• Banking or related educational background preferred
• Proven relationship-based sales experience
• The ability to make well informed timely decisions
• Committed to increasing their knowledge and growth through continuous learning activities
• History of excellence in building working relationships with credit union members
• Self directed and willing to take initiative
• Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must
• Professional in appearance and behavior in a business setting
• Flexible person who is able to multi-task and work well with little supervision
• Works very well under pressure and time commitments
• Clear communicator who is tactful, diplomatic and patient in dealing with the public and co-workers
• An individual who has developed and maintains a positive attitude
• Good problem solving skills
