Financial Administrator



Join a growing, dynamic company that is centered on service! This position is an important part of our finance team and includes hands-on financial transactions as well as online, cloud-based document and financial management.

What will a typical day look like?



This position works closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure correct, timely completion of all financial transactions. This position supports full cycle accounting processes, including AP/AR, GST, payroll, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills in bookkeeping/accounting, reporting, and attention to detail to support multiple companies in the medical and property industries. This position can be filled at the junior or experienced level and offers the opportunity for career growth. A competitive salary package, including benefits and paid sick time are provided to all staff. This is an in-office position with opportunity for flex time.

Job Requirements



At least 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary education (e.g., accounting courses) and hands-on experience Possess very good understanding of accounting principles and the ability to follow a financial transaction through the general ledger/subledger Experience working with various computer applications and databases including a financial accounting system, payroll systems, etc. Ability to quickly learn and adapt Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, professional manner and ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent organization with ability to track and manage key tasks and deadlines Strong oral and written communication skills
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
