. This role supports a portfolio of clients by managing their financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and helping streamline their accounting workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary accounting contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships and understanding their unique financial needs.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
Maintain and review client general ledgers using
QuickBooks Online (QBO)
and/or
Yardi
, depending on client systems.
Prepare client-facing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and customized reporting as requested.
Use
Yardi Breeze
(or similar Yardi products) to support property management clients with rent rolls, tenant billing, CAM reconciliations, and property-level reporting.
Help clients improve internal financial processes, including automation, workflow improvements, and policy development.
Support new client onboarding, including system setup, historical data entry/imports, and process mapping.
Liaise with client auditors, tax preparers, and internal teams to deliver timely, accurate financial data.
Ensure all client accounting practices comply with GAAP and any industry-specific requirements.
Proactively identify issues or discrepancies and recommend solutions to both clients and internal team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or working towards.
3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a client-facing or outsourced accounting environment.
Strong proficiency with
Yardi Breeze
and
QuickBooks Online (QBO)
.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial controls.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently while managing deadlines and client expectations.
Tech-savvy, with a mindset for improving and automating processes where possible.
