Finance Manager - Schwank North America

This is a 1 year contract (maternity leave), full time hybrid position based out of our brand new Head Office in Mississauga.

We are looking for a Finance Manager who is registered with CPA Ontario, eligible to work full time for any employer in Canada, and has 5 +years of experience overseeing direct reports and all aspects of Financial Management for a Manufacturing company.

The Finance Manager will be accountable for overall direction and policy for our Financial, HR, and Business Administrative activities. The Finance Manager will report directly to the President of Schwank North America.

The successful candidate will oversee the finance, accounting, payroll, tax, reporting, costing, budget, risk management, cashflow, inventory optimization, business administration, HR administration, office management, federal and provincial government subsidy program applications relating to hiring, training, etc. for Schwanks' Canada and U.S. entities.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work on cost efficiencies and optimize administration within the organization including benefits, vacation, insurance, and corporate structure (entities).

Qualifications

It is essential that the successful candidate possesses the following education, experience, and personal characteristics:

Education

Relevant post-secondary designation (CMA, CPA, CA, MBA).

Experience

?

At least 5 years of experience managing finance for a manufacturing company

? Demonstrated success working as a collaborative team member.

? Proven leadership capabilities.

? Refined business and financial acumen, with the ability to comprehend and communicate financial results.

? Demonstrated ability to analyze industry trends relating to administration and finance, and successfully implement programs to optimize corporate performance.

? Demonstrated ability to build relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders.
