Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in reviewing and understanding the company's current risk portfolio. Work closely with senior team members to monitor key risk metrics, identify trends, and prepare risk reports for senior management. Support the ongoing monitoring of the company's loan portfolio. Help analyze loan performance, assess risk exposure, and track credit quality. Report on potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation. Assist with the implementation of the Margill risk management system. This includes supporting system setup, data migration, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as training team members on the new system features. Collect and analyze risk-related data from various internal and external sources to support decision-making. Assist in preparing data visualizations, reports, and presentations for management. Work with various teams, including Finance, Compliance, and Operations, to understand risk management needs and support the development of risk mitigation strategies. Upload and manage data within the Origami Risk Management System. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular quality checks. Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation and procedures. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve data-related issues. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Background Requirements:

Actively pursuing a college diploma in Business, Finance, or comparable related experience. Bilingualism in either French or Spanish is considered an asset. Attention to detail is a must. Excellent internal and external communication skills are mandatory. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is an asset. Ability and willingness to travel when necessary.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel functions required: Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key excel functions are preferred). Excellent communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passionate for continuous improvement. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Previous internship experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Office environment. High energy and fast paced, always a busy atmosphere. Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs. Position requires sitting, standing, walking, and bending on a regular basis. Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills. Occasional refrigerated warehouse tours, which maintain temperatures of 50 degrees
