Financial Data Management: Enter, verify, and maintain financial records using spreadsheets and accounting software.
Reporting & Presentation: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including financial statements and presentations.
Analysis & Insights: Conduct variance, trend, and ratio analyses to assess business performance and support decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Help gather department data, update forecasting models, and assist in budgeting exercises.
Reconciliations: Support account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Ad-Hoc Projects & Process Improvements: Participate in special projects to optimize reporting templates and improve workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to learn how finance supports business operations.
Administrative Assistance: Provide support with filing, tracking invoices, and compiling documentation.
Tool Exposure & Development: Gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial databases, and advanced Excel functions.
What We Are Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Commerce program.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
