Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Department Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Canadian Spa Company. This role is crucial in managing our financial transactions and ensuring timely payments to our vendors. You will be directly responsible for the day to day work of the rest of the department members and ensuring they are completing their day to day tasks. Experience with Payroll processing is a must, along with process improvement.

Responsibilities

Managing the day to day operations of the Accounts Receivables department and following up on all aging invoices Ensuring that the reconciliation of the employee reimbursements and corporate Expenses are completed on a daily basis Controlling the regular Accounts Payables and making sure that all vendors are paid appropriately and statements are reconciled Directly responsible for the biweekly Payroll system and calculating correct benefits/vacation calculations Responsible for handling the Cash Management portion of the business by reconciling the banks/credit cards and assisting with budgets/currency exchanges Completing the checklist for monthly closing of the accounting books

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline. More than 3 years in Accounting/Finance related working experience. Ability to learn and use ERP systems, fluency in Microsoft productivity software like Word, Excel and outlook applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in business manner. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts Good comprehension of basic math. Strong attention to detail.
