Community Living St. Catharines is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced and motivated individual to assist the department in meeting the financial responsibilities for the agency, including processing of accounts payable/receivables, bank deposits, and the day-to-day financial transactions as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirement- Post secondary education in Business/Accounting or a related field

More than three years experience in a finance position
Experience with detailed processing of daily accounts payable transactions, adhering to internal controls
Experience in weekly reconciliation of multiple petty cash accounts and detailed recording and reconciliation of corporate credit cards, following specific processing guidelines
Recording with reconciliation process for both accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billable expenses, creating invoices from these expenses and managing multiple payment streams for both outgoing payments and incoming revenue
Experience with assisting in year-end preparation
A solid understanding of the importance of detailed processing of accounts payable transactions and attention to detail, along with the significance of completing an accounting process to avoid complications and how it can impact the entire accounting cycle
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Exceptional skills in the areas of prioritization, and problem-solving
Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (proficient in Excel) & related financial software programs
Experience with ZedAxis AIMS, RBC Express and Treasury software is an asset
Experience with donation processing (experience using a platform-based donation software is an asset)
Valid G2 or G driver's license and minimum of $1 million liability insurance (use of own vehicle is required)
Successful completion of a Vulnerable Police Check
