Finance Clerk

SkyCare Air Ambulance currently has an opening on our team for a full-time Finance Clerk, at our Sioux Lookout base. SkyCare is a growing and dynamic Air Ambulance/Air Charter Service based in Sioux Lookout, Ontario that provides exceptional air charter and medevac services across Canada and the United States with a focus on Ontario and Manitoba.

The Finance Clerk position will report to the CFO and support the SkyCare Team with its daily accounting and office needs, which include filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, charter invoice preparation, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This position is a great first step for someone looking to learn the aviation industry and begin an accounting career. On the job training will be provided. A standard work week would be 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Education and/or experience in bookkeeping an asset
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of accounting an asset
- Previous experience with accounts receivable and collections preferred
- Excellent computer skills, with a good understanding of Microsoft software
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software an asset
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- On the job training provided

Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with education and experience.
