Finance Business Partner - Guelph, Ontario (in office)

What You'll Do

• Build and prepare financial statements and reports to support financial management and decision making.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs through careful analysis.
• Respond to third party (banks, auditor, tax, insurance, benefits providers) inquiries as needed.
• Analyze financial performance and KPIs, providing clear and insightful variance explanations.
• Handle a variety of accounting tasks and complex transactions that keep things running smoothly.
• Support and collaborate with team members, offering leadership when needed.
• Jump in on special projects and provide coverage during peak periods, gaining exposure to new areas of finance.

Requirements:
What We're Looking For in a Finance Business Partner candidate:

• CPA designation (or near completion).
• 2+ years of accounting experience with ASPE, ideally from a CA firm
• Interpersonal skills that facilitate strong team collaboration
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v lookups, and more)
