We are looking for a skilled Finance BI/Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and be proficient in handling large datasets using advanced tools such as Power BI and Excel. This position requires the candidate to be in office 4 days/week
Responsibilities:

• Analyze and consolidate large volumes of financial data to support business decision-making.

• Create and manage detailed reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, to streamline data operations.

• Monitor performance metrics and generate regular KPI reports to assess business outcomes.

• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting needs and ensure data accuracy.

• Support financial management processes through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports and dashboards.

• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all reporting tools and processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial data analysis and business intelligence, construction industry experience an asset.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, macros, and pivot tables.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

• Strong understanding of KPI reporting and performance management.

• Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

• Familiarity with financial and procurement processes and systems.
