Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to support our financial department. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of financial processes. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Duties



Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation. Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Manage filing systems for financial documents and ensure proper organization. Provide clerical support, including typing, proofreading, and managing correspondence. Handle customer inquiries and provide support via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and maintain up-to-date records. Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments and managing front desk operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the finance department. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is a plus. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Experience with data entry and filing systems is essential. Strong typing skills and ability to proofread documents for accuracy. Prior customer service experience is preferred, demonstrating effective communication skills. Familiarity with bookkeeping practices is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
