Four Counties Addiction Services Team (Fourcast) is a community-based addiction treatment service provider that strives to provide the highest quality of evidence-based addiction treatment and case management services. Fourcast offers services across 5 sites in the region. The community treatment program staff work in-office and community settings and are often co-located and integrated with other organizations to reduce barriers for those accessing services.

About The Position...

We are looking for an experienced individual for the Peterborough area, this position is full time and permanent.

As the Finance Assistant, you will support a broad range of financial administration ensuring compliance with Fourcast's organizational polices and procedures. Working closely with the Accountant/Financial Analyst you will process payroll and financial transactions, gather information in preparation of budget planning and monitor and reconcile many accounts. You will perform a variety of financial activities including processing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices, expense reimbursements, journal entries, purchase orders and monitor budgets to ensure expenditures remain within budgeted allocations.

What We're Looking For:

Requires completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Accounting, Business or Finance. Minimum 2 -3 years' experience working in a related position, preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Previous experience with payroll software an asset. Experience with data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practices related to payroll and finance management. Valid Ontario Class G drivers license.
