Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid understanding of financial processes. This role involves supporting the finance department with various clerical tasks, data entry, and customer service responsibilities. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient office operations.

Responsibilities



Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records using QuickBooks. Provide clerical support such as filing, typing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Handle customer service inquiries, providing support to clients via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and correspondence. Support the front desk operations by greeting visitors and managing incoming calls effectively. Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed. Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes within the finance department. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.

Qualifications



Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is a plus. Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Workspace. Strong computer skills with an emphasis on data entry accuracy and efficiency. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Prior experience in customer support or service roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with bookkeeping principles and practices is an advantage. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
