Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in managing financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the finance department. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in various software applications, and excellent customer service abilities.

Duties



Assist with data entry and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications. Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and assisting clients with their financial needs. Manage front desk responsibilities, including handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Support bookkeeping activities by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval of information.

Qualifications



Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping. Strong typing skills with the ability to proofread documents effectively. Experience in customer service or support roles, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in bookkeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
