Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires proficiency in financial software and strong clerical skills to maintain efficient office operations.

Duties



Assist with bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all financial documentation. Provide administrative support, including filing, typing, and proofreading financial documents. Manage front desk responsibilities, including answering multi-line phone systems and providing excellent phone etiquette. Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing assistance to clients as needed. Organize and maintain office files and documentation for easy retrieval. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve office efficiency. Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various administrative tasks, including creating reports and presentations. Assist in managing schedules and appointments within the finance department.

Experience



Prior experience in an office setting is preferred, with a focus on administrative or clerical roles. Familiarity with medical or dental office environments is a plus, particularly for candidates with dental receptionist experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and general computer skills is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Excellent typing skills along with experience in proofreading documents for clarity and correctness. Previous customer support experience is beneficial to effectively assist clients and enhance their experience.
