Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires proficiency in various software applications and strong clerical skills to manage financial records efficiently.

Duties



Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers. Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately. Manage filing systems for financial documents and ensure they are easily accessible. Provide administrative support, including answering multi-line phone systems and handling customer inquiries with professionalism. Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite for various financial reporting and documentation tasks. Support the front desk operations by greeting visitors and managing incoming communications. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before final submission or filing. Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance organizational efficiency. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while providing customer support in a medical or dental office setting.

Qualifications



Previous experience in an office environment, preferably in a finance or administrative role. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications. Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Experience with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management is essential. Familiarity with medical or dental office operations is a plus but not required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes as needed.
