Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires proficiency in financial software and strong clerical skills to maintain efficient operations within our office.

Responsibilities



Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Provide administrative support by managing filing systems, organizing documents, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Handle customer inquiries and provide support via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency. Perform proofreading of financial documents to ensure accuracy and clarity. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Google Workspace tools. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while greeting visitors professionally. Support the finance team with any additional clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements



Previous office experience is required; experience in a medical or dental office is a plus. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace is essential. Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing and document management. Experience with customer service or customer support roles is preferred. Ability to type quickly and accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in bookkeeping will be considered an asset.
