What You'll Bring to the Role
Basic understanding of accounting principles and business operations (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, and inventory tracking).
Awareness of how finance and operations connect within an organization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for organizing and reviewing data.
Exposure to accounting or ERP tools is an asset but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing data or documents.
Clear written and verbal communication to coordinate with multiple teams.
Proficiency in organizing files, managing digital records, and following naming or filing standards.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking for identifying errors or inconsistencies
Time management -- ability to meet weekly and month-end deadlines.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly in a hands-on environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members from finance, purchasing, and operations.
Ability to handle confidential and financial data with discretion and professionalism.
