The individual is responsible for invoice audits before posting the billing invoice, providing visibility to Operations regarding our Service Providerxe2x80x99s AP statements, and ensuring ICB (intercompany billings) disputes are resolved timely (within the proper month based on Soft Close KPIxe2x80x99s).Responsibilities:

  • Support unpaid AR escalations xe2x80x93 avoid bad debt situations
  • Entering revenue accruals timely & accurately to enable operations to make the right (+GP) decisions when selecting Service Providers
  • Auditing billing invoices timely & accurately, based on Customerxe2x80x99s rate cards Inform the Finance & Analytic Manager when auto-rating functionality doesnxe2x80x99t work properly
  • Oversee customer rate card validity & rate card refreshes are received within new validity period
  • Coaching, Training, and Supporting LCL team on SMART financial practices (timely & accurate cost accruals equal fewer Payables)
  • Take responsibility for failures on unpaid AR (bad debt)
  • Be proactive and not reactive
  • Be receptive to feedback from Finance & Analytic Manager
  • Show ownership of your responsibilities
  • Be diligent with record keeping on financial execution
  • Be vocal when necessary (specifically for unethical financial practices)
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in finance or accounting preferred
  • Quantative experience of related activity
  • 3 - 5 years of experience
  • Knowledgeable on Freight Forwarding financials
  • Other skills needed
  • Core Competencies: Financial Awareness, Integrity, Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail, Coaching, Communication & Self-Motivation, and Discipline
  • Efficiency with MS software/tools
  • Other skills considered important, but not required
  • Experienced with CargoWise or One software
  • Experiences with SAP software
  • Domestic travel is expected for

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
