Job brief

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to take charge of daily accounting transaction and monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

You should be familiar with accounting cycle, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
Ultimately, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

Responsibilities

Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
Collaborate with Supply Chain team and Sales team to achieve project goals

Verify, investigate, and issue RMAs to customers in time Apply incoming payments (Cheques, EFT, Credit Card, etc.) to proper customer account Analyze aging of receivables and status of collection on a weekly basis Plan and schedule collection task list quarterly Process and payment of vendor invoices Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports Compilation and completion of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation. Track bank deposits and payments Preparation of the monthly bank reconciliations Participate in financial audits Assist in budget preparation

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures Experience using ERP (NetSuite is an asset) Advanced MS Excel skills Knowledge of financial regulations Excellent analytical and numerical skills Sharp time management skills Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
