About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Finance Analyst to join our Amendment Audit & Controls Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring financial amendments and contract changes are executed in compliance with internal financial policies, legal requirements, and corporate controls. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Legal, Sales, and Support to review, assess, and escalate discrepancies related to revenue-impacting amendments, with the goal of maintaining financial integrity and minimizing compliance risk. Additionally, you will be tasked with collecting feedback for policy updates.
This position follows a standard schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM CST, Monday to Friday.
What you'll get to do

  • Audit & Review:
  • Review customer contract amendments and financial adjustments to ensure alignment with internal financial and legal controls.
  • Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or non-compliance issues in amendment documentation or processing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • For example, conflicting verbiage or pricing across documentation, etc.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Billing, and Revenue Accounting teams to resolve amendment issues and clarify contractual language or intent.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and other departments to ensure consistent application of controls and best practices.
  • Controls & Compliance:
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial controls, revenue recognition policies (e.g., ASC 606), and their implications on contract amendments.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Assist in the development and refinement of internal workflows, documentation standards, and control processes related to financial amendments.
  • Contribute to initiatives to automate and enhance audit capabilities and reporting accuracy.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare audit reports and summaries for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of amendment reviews and decisions for audit and compliance purposes.
Skills & Experience We Value
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Audit, Revenue Operations, or Contract Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and revenue accounting principles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ tools, or contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM).
