Adfast is interviewing candidates for a Financial Analyst position!
Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, the main responsibilities of this position are to act as a resource person for all internal customers for the various financial analyses required, the validation of Power Bi reports as well as for the creation, maintenance and interpretation of data. He/she will also participate in the training of internal clients.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, Day shift, Hybrid formula with a minimum of 2 days in person

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analyses of product and inventory costs, including production, purchasing, transportation, customs, and stock allocations.
Validate and reconcile inventory with the general ledger, identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and ensure consistency in item classifications.
Produce sales and margin analyses by product, customer, and category, ensuring alignment with financial statements and Power BI reports.
Reconcile intercompany transactions, including transportation charges and elimination of intercompany balances.
Ensure tax and customs compliance, including validation of sales and purchase taxes, unbilled transportation fees, and reconciliation of customs agency invoices.
Maintain the integrity of financial data in D365, and generate required data from existing systems to support internal databases.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and supplier information, ensuring data reliability and consistency.
Prepare ad hoc reports and respond to internal and external requests, supporting managers and other departments.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar field/position
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong computer skills
Experience working with data systems such as Power Bi
Experience working with Microsoft D365 and Salesforce (a strong asset)
Comfortable working with Excel and Outlook
Bilingualism required, spoken and written (French, English).
