Financial Analyst

Duties



Conduct in-depth financial analysis using tools such as

Microsoft Excel

,

Power BI

,

Tableau

, and

Microsoft PowerPoint

to visualize data and present findings effectively. Manage and analyze data from various

ERP systems

including

SAP

,

Oracle

,

NetSuite

, and

Microsoft Dynamics GP

to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Develop and maintain complex databases utilizing

SQL

,

Microsoft Access

, and other database management tools for accurate data retrieval and analysis. Perform regular auditing of financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Support investment analysis, research projects, and continuous improvement initiatives within the financial services sector. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, interpret trends, and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Utilize

VBA

programming within

Microsoft Excel

for automation of repetitive tasks and enhanced analysis capabilities. Assist in the development of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, budgeting processes, and business performance metrics. Maintain proficiency in accounting software and stay updated on industry best practices to improve analytical accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus. Proven experience with

ERP systems

such as

SAP

,

Oracle

, or

NetSuite

; familiarity with

Microsoft Dynamics GP

is advantageous. Strong proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

including

Excel

,

Word

,

PowerPoint

, and

Outlook

; experience with data visualization tools like

Power BI

or

Tableau

is preferred. Knowledge of databases (

SQL

,

Microsoft Access

) and experience with programming languages like

VBA

for automation tasks. Familiarity with accounting principles, auditing processes, budgeting, and investment analysis within the financial services industry. Excellent research, analysis skills, and attention to detail; ability to interpret complex data sets accurately. Bilingual abilities in

English

and

French

are desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
