Here at Collectivfide we have big goals and big dreams, so we need to fill our team with amazing talent. In this role you will provide day to day accounting and treasury support for Collectivfide head office and produce accurate and timely financial reporting.



This is a 14-month maternity contract position. This is a hybrid role; you will work primarily from home but will be expected to come into the Cambridge, ON office for collaboration days, team meetings/events.



Here's What You Will Be Doing ...


Key Duties & Responsibilities:




Day-to-Day Accounting & Treasury Functions + Maintenance of General Ledger and Chart of Accounts, Completion of Journal Entries, Issuance of Invoices, Expense Report Processing, AR Payment Posting and Outstanding AR Follow-Ups, Vendor Invoice Posting and Payments
+ Tax Filing & Payments (EHT, HST, Income Tax), banking duties
Month-End Accounting Functions + Bank Reconciliations, Corporate Credit Card Reconciliations, Maintenance of Support Schedules (Prepaid Expenses, Capital Assets, Accrued Liabilities, etc.), Tax Reconciliations and Payments (RST/EHT/Others), Month-End System Close and Report Generation, Preparation of Draft Financial Statements for Review
+ Support with Financial Statement Consolidation and Intercompany Transactions
Quarterly and Semi-Annual Functions + Support Preparation of Forecast Updates and Variance Analysis
+ Support with Lender Covenant Calculations and Reporting
Year-End Functions + Support Auditors with Data Requests for Financial Statement and Tax Filing Preparations
+ Book Year-End Adjusting Journal Entries in Accounting System and Complete Close Process and Report Generation
Other Functions + Support for Collectivfide Staff, Support for Ad-Hoc Projects, Adhere to Internal Controls and Accounting Standards
+ Support Broker Finance team with subsidiary accounting issues and intercompany transactions (Dividends, Debt Repayments, etc.)
+ Assist with Preparation and Monitoring of the Annual Budget
+ Assist with Year-End Enterprise Valuation
+ Assist with Corporate Projects, Including Accounting System Migration



Qualifications:



2 years professional experience working in a bookkeeping or accounting role. Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or equivalent. Proven track record in full cycle accounting. Experience in a multi-entity environment is an asset. Strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-look up) Must be able to work under tight month-end deadlines. Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
