In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

As Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis, providing insightful assessments of financial operations, and assisting in the accurate and timely preparation of reports and statements. Individual will play a key role in supporting financial operations, including activities such as month-end closings, analysis, reporting, and budgeting.Day to Day

Financial Reporting & Month-End: Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; validate and analyze monthly reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Fixed assets oversight: Maintaining Fixed Assets Records for multiple locations, depreciation schedules, monthly and quarterly project cost tracking reports while providing any necessary information; supporting budget forecasting for depreciation.
ERP & Projects: Collaborate with the Finance team to gather requirements, support ERP implementation, and assist with ongoing process integration.
Cross-functional Support: Partner with departments across the business to provide financial insights.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial procedures, ensuring documentation and standardization of processes.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Support additional projects and financial tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
=======================
Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Three to five years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
Solid knowledge of financial reporting, fixed assets, and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical skills, communication abilities, and teamwork.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide creative solutions.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and quickly learn new processes.
