Role Purpose
Provide Tooling support for Commercial, Engineering, Accounting, and customers.

Responsibilities

Routine activities involve:

  • Supporting Customers for Tooling audit (expense check).
  • Invoicing - tracking and reviewing each project for the stage of completion and for conditional invoicing.
  • Accessing systems on Customer\'s Data base for POs\\e-mail\\invoicing (i.e. Customer ERP).
  • Collection of accounts receivables.
  • Detailed report for customer approval, tool pictures, measurements of various technical details to be submitted to customers for invoicing approval and projects without customer purchase orders.
  • Three-way match for vendor payments.
  • Coordination of tooling inventory for insurance purpose (involves several plants).
  • Customer inquiries, liaison with Commercial team, Engineering team, Accounting team.
Accounting Support:
  • Setting up Troy and Mississauga projects (setting up in Mississauga\'s books and transferring projects to Troy for each month end).
  • Parallel invoicing: Customized invoices are prepared on a separate system and also invoiced again in CMS for Accounting purposes. Responsibile for aligning two separate invoice numbers in two systems).
  • Closing projects: Ensuring all the invoicing has been completed before closing the project and booking Sales Revenue and COGS. Required to balance manual report and CMS report before finalizing.
  • Tax reviews\\audits.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experiences in an Automotive or manufacturing environment with direct involvement in a technical or tooling discipline.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starting individual, ability to prioritize activities, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, proactive.
  • Ability to compose correspondence with minimal guidance.
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.
  • Basic Accounting/PO Systems knowledge.
