OverviewWexe2x80x99re looking for a temporary Film Distributor to maintain, distribute, and file medical imaging (radiological) examinations; and to call in, receive, and return radiological examinations from and to all healthcare establishments. If youxe2x80x99re a self-starter and enjoy a day providing assistance to internal and external clients, we want to hear from you. This is a temporary position for 6 months.Where youxe2x80x99ll workThis position requires full-time onsite attendance at our Richmond office.What you'll do

• Organize, send out, receive, and record medical imaging (radiological) examinations for distribution within our organization, and to outside professionals and healthcare establishments
• Request medical imaging (radiological) examinations from outside sources; to receive, record, register and redistribute as directed by diagnostic imaging records memo
• Register, catalog, and file workersxe2x80x99 medical imaging files for onsite storage and prepare to send to offsite storage

• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
• Organize, prioritize, and take initiative
• Stand for long periods of time and lift x-ray film bags up to 10 lbs.

Your background and experience

• A minimum of grade 12 education
• Type a minimum of 25 words per minute
• Excellent English language skills, with accurate grammar and spelling and reading comprehension
