Indian River Farms is seeking a Field Technician / Crop Scout who is self-motivated with good people skills. This position offers a competitive wage with excellent benefits! Terms of Employment The position of Field Technician / Crop Scout is a Seasonal, 40 hours a week position where wages are based on experience and range from $20 to $25/hour. Duties
- Collecting soil samples
- Identifying weeds, disease, and pests in the potato crop
- Completing scouting reports and communicating with manager
- Planter accuracy checks during the planting season
- Experience in crop scouting or potato rouging
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize operations in light of multiple priorities and conflicting demands
- Team player with an ability to participate in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, flexibility in hours worked.
Contract length: 6 months Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits:
