Description:



We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on commercial job sites. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating schedules, ensuring work is completed safely and to specification, and serving as the main point of contact between the field and office teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction and excels at leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

General Responsibilities:



Supervise and coordinate daily field operations across multiple job sites. Manage crews performing steel stud framing, drywall, insulation, taping, painting, firestopping, and ceiling systems. Monitor workmanship and enforce strict quality control standards to ensure all work meets or exceeds company and client expectations. Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specs, and quality standards. Monitor project schedules and communicate progress, delays, and issues to project management. Enforce health and safety standards and conduct daily site inspections. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to tradespeople and laborers. Track labor hours, material usage, and daily site reports. Assist in resolving field-related issues, conflicts, or deficiencies. Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications:



8+ years of hands-on experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of steel stud framing, drywall systems, taping, painting, and related finishes. Proven ability to manage crews and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OH&S). Proficient with smartphone or tablet-based reporting tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Certifications in First Aid, WHMIS, and Fall Protection are considered assets.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
