Description :Toromont Cat is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our forever growing Mining team! The Fly in/Fly Out Field Service Technicians for this specific commitment will support Toromont\xe2\x80\x99s continued success with service operations. These Technicians must be adaptable, willing, able and flexible to meet the parameters of commitments across various locations including Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Arctic, Newfoundland and Labrador as required. The Field Service Technicians will safely and effectively diagnose, repair and or assemble all Caterpillar mining and earthmoving equipment in a timely manner while ensuring high quality standards and positive customer relations. Note: Although working for a Branch, these Technicians will be assigned for deployment to Toromont\xe2\x80\x99s Remote Site locations or Branches (occasionally on short-notice for specified shifts and rotation durations).As a Toromont Cat Field Service Technician-ST90, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont\xe2\x80\x99s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
• Repair and/or assemble allied or competitive Caterpillar earthmoving equipment as required within established time lines and quality standards
• Prepare service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Participate as an integrated member of onsite mechanical staff
• Maintain good customer relations
• Comply with company and customer health and safety policies and procedures

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-secondary education with a relative Technician licence, applicable within the related province for this position
• 2 years of experience as a Technician
• Bilingualism an asset
