Field Service Technician - Unlicensed

We welcome both licensed and unlicensed technicians to apply. This position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield's health and safety policy programs and initiatives; Repair and service equipment on site Perform inspections on equipment on job site Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions; Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield's health and safety policy programs and initiatives; Extensive background and knowledge of construction equipment and the necessary parts and services to maintain and repair; Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs; Existing knowledge of the service/maintenance requirements for all types of construction equipment including Genie, Skyjack and CAT; Ability to work independently, skilled in time management and organization; Supervisory experience and previous leadership experience; Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work to meet the demands of the business; Strong computer skills and familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS would be considered beneficial); A customer-centric and positive attitude; good communication skills; A valid G-class driver's license and clean driver's abstract is mandatory. Primary work place will be rental branch, starting each day at 7 am working on equipment until dispatch requests come in. Field Service Truck will be available to to-and-from only.

Additional Qualifications:

Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting; as heavy lifting will be required frequently; Applicants must live within a 50 km radius of the Moncton/Dieppe region; Your own tools are required.

Wage:

$23.00-$34.00 per hour depending on experience.
