Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Technician, you will spend your day on the road providing high quality service directly to East Penn Canada customers

You will be responsible for:

Completing battery & charger inspections, maintenance & reports Inspecting & performing minor repairs on battery cables, connectors & accessories Reporting on & recommending follow up for additional repairs Conducting pre-delivery inspections & installations of battery monitoring devices Installing, inspecting, repairing & testing watering systems Preparing batteries for transportation

Qualifications:

All our Field Service Technicians receive full battery training, but a strong foundation and background in the following will set you up for success:

Mechanical / electrical aptitude Previous experience in a technical or customer service-related role Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear explanations Good problem solving / troubleshooting skills Solid customer service focus and experience creating a positive customer experience Ability to identify opportunities to advise / support the customer, upsell and cross-sell would be beneficial

Other Considerations...

Valid G driver's licence required with a clean driving record. Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move vehicle/industrial batteries Background checks including criminal checks, driver's abstract and employment references will be requested.
