We are currently looking to hire our next great team members for the position of shop and field technicians located in our new Dartmouth Nova Scotia location

Job description:

Our shop and field service technicians' position is to utilize there mechanic expertise to support the needs of the branch and in the field in a safe and professional manner. Our team of professional's will work to keep all company owned and customers equipment in peak running condition through a preventative maintenance and detailed repair schedule.

This position comes with a company service van, fully equipped with tools and parts. 24/7 technical support and in house support is readily available. Company cell phone, work boot allowance, and uniform services supplied.

Responsibilities:

- Follow consistent and regular OEM schedule of repairs to various types of machinery.

- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot, all fuel type systems, electrical and hydraulic systems.

- Conduct all PM service requirements.

- Replace assorted parts on boom lifts, telehandlers and scissor lifts.

- Diagnoses problem areas for potential wear and tear on equipment.

- Maintain work area in a organized and clean manner at all times.

- Follow all company and site safety procedures while in the branch and on customers sites.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills required

- Ability to read and understand schematics of equipment for proper repairs, ability to read and understand warning labels on various types of equipment.

- Ability to lift 50lbs.

- First in class customer service skill.

- Understand the importance of time management skills.

- Able to work independently or in a team setting.

- Must posses solid written and verbal communication skills and able to perform basic computer skills required for the position.

Conditions of employment.

- Journeyman red seal ticket would be an asset, but not neccessary, if you're mechanically inclined this may be the position for you.

- Valid drivers license and clean drivers record.
