Install, demonstrate, maintain and repair marking, coding and labeling equipment
Train customer operators and maintenance personnel
Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms
Assess customer needs and opportunities in order to optimize their equipment and processes
Propose solutions such as preventive maintenance programs and communicate information regarding identified improvements to their manager
Share and exchange solutions with other service technicians and sales managers
Keep current on all company products by attending training sessions (onsite/offsite)
Assist in production floor, FAT, office duties when not required to be in the field
Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints


Are you excited about this work?


Minimum of 7 years of experience in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
College diploma or bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Automation, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered
Ability to identify customer needs and align them with appropriate company products and services
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Syteline considered an asset)
Strong technical aptitude, with excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of the packaging industry and its applications, and/or experience with food manufacturing equipment, is preferred
Willingness to obtain and maintain PMMI certification (cost covered by the company)
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
Willing and able to travel up to 60%, including throughout Canada, the U.S., and occasional international travel (by car or air)
