Reports Directly to: Field Service Operations Manager, North America

Location: Langley

Salary: $120-$130,000 annually

YOUR MISSION

Major Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled field service professionals based in Canada and USA, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Drive safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction and growth via on-site coaching, mentorship and supervision.

Assisted by the field service coordinator, oversee and schedule field service activities, coordinating resources and equipment to ensure efficient and timely project execution.

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional solutions, maintaining positive relationships and driving customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies, guaranteeing a secure and productive work environment.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.

Assist in the development and execution of training programs for field service professionals, keeping them up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Contribute to the development of service strategies, helping to drive innovation and enhance our competitive advantage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, sales, and customer support to streamline processes and improve overall customer experience.

Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing on field service opportunities while maintaining a good control on costs and efficiency.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or equivalent experience

Proven field service management experience (5+ years); Preferably in the electrical power generation industry or equivalent.

Demonstrated best in class leadership abilities with a clear track record of effectively leading and motivating field service teams to achieve market differentiated performance.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and electrical (CSA/NFPA/UL) regulatory codes and standards

Understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics & mechanical drawings

Understanding of industrial control equipment is an asset for this role (metering, protective relaying, relay ladder logic, Programmable Logic Controllers \xe2\x80\x93 PLCs and HMI\xe2\x80\x99s)

Experience with switchgear or Automatic transfer switch would be an asset.

Familiarity with NETA/NICET in electrical equipment testing would be an asset.

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is a must.

Proficiency in using computer applications and tools for project management, reporting, and data analysis.

Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel in Canada and USA on a frequent basis is required.
