A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy Transmission services provides covers a comprehensive service portfolio including packaging turnkey installation and commissioning, repair, refurbishment and spares for OEM and non-OEM power transformers. In addition we supply spare parts for both AIG and GIS installed base

The FSS is responsible for the successful execution of projects and supervising, both technically and administratively, crew members and assigned contractor(s) and is expected to take decisive and/or corrective action for the well-being of the crew, environment, project, customer, and/or organization as a whole. The FSS reports to the SV Operations Manager and is expected to have effective communication regarding resource loading, scheduling, forecasting, personnel, and equipment utilization. Effective communication with the operations and project team is required. The FSS role often requires extensive travel and non-standard schedules at customer field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• The Field Service Supervisor will maintain and foster customer relationships, mentor and provide leadership to the field service team.
• The Field Service Supervisor will provide technical leadership and mentorship to the field teams.

What You Bring

• High School diploma or Equivalent
• Electrical or Mechanical Technical Diploma or Trade journeyman certificate
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools and their functions.
• Ideally ten (10) years of related OEM, industrial, commercial or utility experience
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rule, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
