Introduction



Nous sommes a la recherche d'un superviseur du service en chantier pour rejoindre notre equipe de service en chantier. Vous serez responsable de la coordination/planification et de l'execution/supervision des activites liees a la reparation, a l'entretien et a l'installation de l'equipement de traitement minier. Votre role joue un role crucial dans les travaux d'entretien ainsi que dans la connaissance de l'equipement minier. A ce poste, vous vous rapporterez au directeur du service en chantier.



Ce poste est principalement situe a Burlington (CA), Montreal (CA), Sudbury (CA) mais nous sommes heureux de proposer des modalites de travail flexibles, y compris des options hybrides. Cependant, il implique jusqu'a 80 % de deplacements sur les sites des clients.

Vous rejoindrez une equipe d'experts en service en chantier qui se consacrent a la reparation, a la l'entretien et a l'installation des equipements de traitement minier de Metso.

Les membres de notre equipe sont repartis sur differents sites et coordonnent leurs activites avec l'equipe des operations, le responsable de l'administration/comptabilite et l'equipe d'assistance technique en chantier.

Preparez-vous pour le succes :

Avant d'arriver sur le chantier, plongez-vous dans l'etendue detaillee des travaux, les dessins, les procedures de l'entreprise et les instructions specifiques pour etre parfaitement prepare.

Collaborez avec les experts :

Travaillez en etroite collaboration avec les equipes de support technique de Metso pour tirer parti de leur expertise.

Offrez des conseils d'expert :

Fournissez des services consultatifs pendant les phases d'installation, de verification, de demarrage et de mise en service.

Coordonnez les activites :

Assurez la liaison avec les clients et leurs sous-traitants pour garantir des operations fluides sur le chantier.

Soutenez l'execution :

Aidez les clients a respecter le calendrier des travaux et a terminer les taches a temps.

Priorisez la securite :

Conseillez les equipes de l'usine ou des entrepreneurs pour qu'elles effectuent en toute securite les travaux d'entretien, de reparation et d'amelioration.

Resolvez les problemes :

Determinez les problemes mecaniques et aidez a prendre des mesures correctives et a effectuer des reparations.

Optimisez les operations :

Recommandez des procedures d'exploitation et d'entretien pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de l'equipement.

Formez et eduquez :

Formez le personnel du client aux methodes appropriees d'entretien et de reparation de l'equipement.

Documentez et rapportez :

Redigez des rapports detailles decrivant les problemes rencontres, les mesures prises et les recommandations futures.

Innovez et ameliorez :

Faites des recommandations pour ameliorer les methodes et l'efficacite sur le chantier lorsque cela est approprie.

Gerez les depenses :

Soumettez des rapports de depenses conformement aux politiques et procedures de voyage de Metso.

Service polyvalent :

Effectuez d'autres taches liees au service a la demande du directeur du service en chantier.

Pret a voyager :

Soyez pret a voyager, tant au niveau national qu'international, selon les besoins.

Adaptez-vous et excellez :

Effectuez d'autres taches diverses et projets speciaux selon les besoins.



Qui etes-vous :



Certifie et experimente :

Certificat de mecanicien-monteur ou experience equivalente avec au moins 5 ans dans le domaine des services en chantier.

Pret pour le monde :

Passeport canadien valide et permis de conduire.

Competences en leadership :

Capacite a diriger, planifier et organiser des missions de service en chantier.

Oriente client :

Motive et oriente vers la satisfaction du client.

Excellent communicateur :

Bonnes aptitudes a la communication avec une maitrise obligatoire de l'anglais (oral et ecrit) et une preference pour la maitrise du francais (oral et ecrit).

Competences techniques :

Capacite a lire et comprendre les dessins mecaniques en anglais et en systeme metrique.

Connaissance des produits :

Familiarite avec les equipements de Metso.

Competences informatiques :

Competences adequates en informatique, capable de travailler avec Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel et le courrier electronique Outlook.

Passionne de voyages :

Volonte de se rendre sur les sites des chantiers, y compris pour des periodes prolongees, jusqu'a 70 % du temps.

Performant sous pression :

Capable de s'acquitter de ses taches sous pression, avec la possibilite de journees de travail de 16 heures.

Pret pour les urgences :

Volonte de repondre aux appels d'urgence du service en chantier 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7.

Respect des politiques :

Appliquer et respecter les politiques, objectifs, buts, securite et normes de qualite ISO 9001 de l'entreprise.

Introduction



We are seeking a Field Service Supervisor to join our Field Service team. You will be responsible for the coordination/planning and execution/supervision of activities related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of mining process equipment. Your role plays a crucial part in maintenance work as well as knowledge in mining equipment. In this position, you will report to the Field Service Manager.



This position is mainly located in Burlington (CA), Montreal (CA), Sudbury (CA) but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. however, it involves up to 80% of travel to customer sites.



Team you belong to:



You will join a team of Field service experts committed to the repair, maintenance, and installation of Metso's mining process equipment.



Our team culture is all about solving and getting things done. The members in our team are in various locations and coordinate with Interfaces with Operations Team, Manager of Administration/Accounting/Field Service Support team.



What You'll Do:



Prepare for Growth:

Before heading to a field assignment, you'll dive deep into the detailed scope of work, drawings, company procedures, and specific instructions to ensure you're fully prepared.

Collaborate with Experts:

Work closely with Metso's technical support staff to leverage their expertise.

Provide Expert Guidance:

Offer advisory services during installation, checkout, start-up, and commissioning phases.

Coordinate Activities:

Liaise with customers and their contractors to ensure smooth field operations.

Support Execution:

Assist customers in maintaining the field schedule and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Safety First:

Guide mill or contractor crews in safely performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Troubleshoot & Repair:

Address mechanical issues and assist with corrective actions and repairs.

Optimize Operations:

Recommend operating and maintenance procedures to ensure equipment functions properly.

Train & Educate:

Train customer staff on proper maintenance and repair methods.

Document & Report:

Write detailed field reports outlining problems encountered, actions taken, and future recommendations.

Innovate & Improve:

Suggest improvements to field methods and efficiency when appropriate.

Track Expenses:

Submit expense statements in line with Metso's travel policies and procedures.

Versatile Service:

Take on other service-related tasks as requested by the Field Service Manager.

Travel Ready:

Be prepared for both domestic and international travel as needed.

Adapt & Excel:

Perform other miscellaneous tasks and special projects as required.



Who You Are:



Certified & Experienced:

Millwright certification or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in field service.

Globally Ready:

Valid Canadian passport and driver's license.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to coordinate, plan, and organize field service assignments.

Customer-Focused:

Motivated and oriented towards customer satisfaction.

Expert Communicator:

High communication skills with mandatory fluency in English (oral and written) and preferred fluency in French (oral and written).

Technical Proficiency:

Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings in both the English and Metric systems.

Product Knowledge:

Familiarity with Metso's equipment.

Tech-Savvy:

Adequate computer skills, capable of working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes email.

Travel Enthusiast:

Willingness to travel to job sites, including extended periods, up to 70% of the time.

Pressure Performer:

Capable of handling tasks in a time-sensitive setting, with the potential for 16-hour workdays.

Emergency Ready:

Willingness to respond to field service emergency calls on a 24/7 basis.

Policy Adherent:
