ed Safety Technician (CRST) designation or working towards it would be considered an asset.

Technical/Job Specific Knowledge and Abilities

Demonstrated ability to work independently. Ability to read a GPS and navigate to site. An understanding of risk assessment and risk management concepts. Awareness of provincial and federal environmental assessment legislation, regulations, and processes. Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and understand their drivers to affect a safety culture mindset and improved safety performance at our project sites. Focus and a commitment to working safely and looking out for others. Ability to manage multiple tasks and make independent decisions in a timely manner. Possess a valid Nova Scotia Driver's License (Class 5 with 2 years minimum driving experience) and have a clean driver's abstract.
