We are seeking Operators at all experience levels to join our Field and Plant Operations. These positions require a self-motivated individual to be a part of our day to day to field and plant operations. Field Operators perform daily operational check of assigned wells and facilities, and are expected to handle most routine problems independently. Applicants must live within an hour of Hardisty Alberta. Reporting to the Field Foreman, key areas of responsibility include: \xc2\xb7 Know and follow all company policies and procedures, including production, safety and regulatory procedures. \xc2\xb7 Specific training and understanding of H2S risks and safety procedures \xc2\xb7 Maintain field production using the following (but not limited to) skills and experience \xc2\xb7 Well optimization \xc2\xb7 Pigging optimization \xc2\xb7 Maximizing facility run time and efficiency \xc2\xb7 Responsible to keep equipment and facilities operating at maximum efficiency with minimum down time in a safe and cost effective manner. \xc2\xb7 Identify and follow through on optimization opportunities. \xc2\xb7 Assist in planning and execution of field and facility projects. \xc2\xb7 Provide input and support on facility optimization and gathering system modification projects \xc2\xb7 Ensure prompt and accurate reporting of production/fuel/flaring/venting data. (including trucked volumes.) \xc2\xb7 Work effectively with Production Accounting staff to ensure accuracy in PVR and provide accurate information about flow and meter questions and issues as they may arise \xc2\xb7 Ensure all regulatory requirements are being met and documented. \xc2\xb7 Maintain continuous understanding of operating costs and key cost drivers and support cost saving initiatives \xc2\xb7 Assist in ordering and tracking parts and fittings \xc2\xb7 Monitor and code invoicing (through Open Invoice) to ensure accuracy and prompt payment to vendors. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with service providers and provide support to maintenance crews as needed \xc2\xb7 Order and track parts and fittings for projects and code and approve invoices. \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned. Candidate Summary: \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Plant processes including compression, refrigeration & stabilization. \xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of gathering system and isolation points. \xc2\xb7 Thorough working knowledge of all plant and field equipment and its functions. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of regulatory requirements. \xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and strong sense of team commitment. \xc2\xb7 Above average decision making skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational abilities. \xc2\xb7 Positive attitude. \xc2\xb7 Ability to be open minded and thinking \xe2\x80\x9coutside the box\xe2\x80\x9d is an asset. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Appropriate industry certifications including H2S Alive and First Aid \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in production operations. \xc2\xb7 Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License \xc2\xb7 Good computer skills. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with excel and word programs. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with Open Invoice is an asset.
