POSITION: Linepeson LabourerLOCATION: Various Saskatchewan locationsJOB TYPE: Full-time, 10 hr shifts, 14/7 scheduleAdanac Telecom Ltd. is a metis owned and operated business looking to add motivated new workers to our team!We are seeking an aerial & under ground Fibre Optic Technician. The individual shall be responsible for day to day operation of the bucket truck. We are willing to train the right individual. A career with Adanac Telecom Ltd. does require travel.The position includes, but not limited to:

• Daily completion of the required safety documentation and ensure all tasks are always completed in a safe and professional manner.
• Follow and understand safe work practices and procedures in relation to fibre optic installation, construction, and bucket truck operations.
• Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision.
• Read engineered drawings and specifications to perform work.
• Determine materials required for each job and able to effectively plan task sequence.
• Communicate effectively, professionally and demonstrate a strong customer service focus in all interactions.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and as the need arises perform minor repairs to equipment.
• General housekeeping duties

Experience/Skills:

• Safety mindset. Safe production is essential!
• Previous bucket truck or other related industrial experience preferred
• Valid Drivers licence with a clean drivers record
• Class 5 with Air Endorsment is required.
• Safety certifications preferred: Fall Protection & Aerial Lift required, First Aid/CPR, & CSTS is considered an asset.
• Experience working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Mechanical inclination is an asset.
• Ability to listen and take direction with positive, can-do attitude.
• Clean criminal record check.
• Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
• Attention to detail
